The Lake Erie Walleye Trail (LEWT)

The Western Basin Sportfishing Association (WBSA) holds tournaments as a main fundraiser for the club. The goal is to have a professionally run tournament series for Lake Erie that sparks interest for the weekend angler as well as for the veteran tournament anglers in the club. The series has gotten more popular every year and in 2010 we averaged 45 teams per event with 2 sold out very early. This year we expect to improve those numbers once again. It pays to fish the LEWT, you'll never learn more about what it takes to put fish in the boat and everyone has a good chance at taking home many of our sponsor donations, some valued in hundreds of dollars. We invite you will join in the excitement of Lake Erie competitive fishing!
